Welcome to North Motorcycle Riders Association of Tasmania


The North Motorcycle Riders Association of Tasmania is a club which promotes the social side of motorcycling.


The club organises runs, rallies and other activities for the benefit of its members and other motorcyclists.


The club strives to overcome negative attitudes sometimes shown towards motorcyclists and raises money for certain charities.


MRA North meetings are held at 7pm on the first Wednesday of each month (except January) at the Best Western Hotel in Earl St Launceston, all members, prospective members & guests are welcome.



Next ride will be on the 22nd of May, leaving from the Signal Station tavern on the East Tamar HWY.

leaving at 10:30 sharp,for a ride to Bridport for lunch .

Ps once a month rides will be on every fourth Sunday from now on except December.





The Tasmanian Motorcycle Council (TMC) is the peak motorcycle body representing motorcyclists throughout Tasmania. North MRA members are represented by our president Danny Penney who
attends these meetings to take up members concerns raised through our association and reports back at North MRA's monthly meetings.
At the last TMC meeting, a graduated licensing program was discussed and is to be followed up with Stage Growth later this month. Danny asked for an update on the Lake Leake Highway
works. He will also give the TMC committee an update on the campaign for the motorcycle mentor program for northern Launceston.
If you would like motorcycling issues taken up by MRA North we encourage you to attend our meetings held on the 1st Wednesday of each month at the Best Western Hotel Earl St. Launceston from 7pm.
